1. Cancellation Overview
SkyPay allows cancellation of certain transactions and services subject to timing and the nature of the service. UPI transactions are real-time and generally cannot be cancelled once authorised.
2. UPI Transaction Cancellations
UPI payments are processed instantly and generally cannot be cancelled once you enter your UPI PIN.
- Transactions CANNOT be cancelled after UPI PIN is entered
- Pending collect requests can be declined before approval
- Scheduled payments can be cancelled before the execution time
- For erroneous payments, raise a refund request instead
UPI is designed for instant settlement. Once authorised, the only recourse is to request a refund from the recipient or raise a dispute.

If you have active subscriptions or auto-pay mandates through SkyPay:

Auto-pay mandates for recurring bills can be managed directly from the SkyPay app.
- Pause auto-pay temporarily without deleting the mandate
- Resume anytime — your settings and preferences are preserved
- Delete mandate permanently to stop all future auto-debits
- Already debited amounts for the current cycle cannot be reversed via cancellation
5. Recharge & Bill Payment Cancellations
Once a recharge or bill payment is initiated and confirmed:
- Cancellation is NOT possible after payment is confirmed
- Prepaid recharges are non-cancellable once applied
- Bill payments cannot be reversed once the biller receives the funds
- For failed transactions, refund is processed automatically
Review all details carefully on the confirmation screen before entering your UPI PIN. Confirmed payments cannot be cancelled.
6. Account Closure
If you wish to close your SkyPay account entirely:
- Ensure all pending transactions are settled
- Cancel all active auto-pay mandates
- Withdraw any wallet balance to your bank account
- Submit account closure request via Settings → Account → Close Account
- Account deletion completed within 30 days
- Certain data retained as required by law (transaction records for 10 years)
