Our Mission & Vision
SkyPay was built on a single belief: that every merchant — from a chai stall to a chain of stores — deserves access to the same financial tools that power the world's biggest businesses.
“To democratize digital payments for every merchant, every village, every dream — making financial access a universal right, not a privilege.”
“To build the payment infrastructure that powers the next billion merchants — making every transaction seamless, safe, and instant.”
The 3 Pillars of Our Mission & Vision
Three commitments that guide every product, every policy, every line of code we write.
Join Us in Building the Future
Whether you are a merchant ready to grow, a developer building the next fintech, or a team member passionate about inclusion — this vision is for you.
Our Story
From a small team in Bangalore to the payment infrastructure of a million merchants — here's how we built SkyPay, one transaction at a time.
From a garage to a gateway
Aryan Mehta registered SkyPay in Bangalore with ₹18 lakhs in seed funding and a team of four. The original product was a simple UPI payment link generator — because that's what the chai-wala next door needed.
India's merchants trust SkyPay
Within six months of launch, 10,000 merchants across Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu were processing payments on SkyPay. We shipped QR code payments, SMS invoicing, and a merchant dashboard — all in 90 days.
Investors bet on every merchant
SkyPay closed a $12M Series A led by Accel India, with participation from Sequoia Surge. The capital went to rebuilding the payments engine for 10× throughput and hiring Priya Sharma as CTO.
Enterprise-grade security for every merchant
SkyPay achieved PCI-DSS Level 1 certification — the same standard trusted by Visa and Mastercard. Our ML-powered fraud engine reduced chargebacks by 94%, giving merchants confidence to grow online.
South Asia's fastest-growing payments platform
SkyPay crossed 1M active merchants and raised a $48M Series B to fuel global expansion. We launched in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal — and began Mastercard and SWIFT cross-border partnerships.

Where We Stand Today
Numbers reflecting five years of relentless focus on India's merchants.
We didn't build SkyPay to compete — we built it to include. Every feature, every API, every decision starts with the merchant in mind.
